Holiday mood!!!!

So, to begin with, i passed my dissection with an A!!! gosh, i reli dunno hw to describe my feelings....LOL n i got to know from my tutors that i was the only one with an A from prof nemcova...im nt sure abt those from prof benes as when the dissection exam started n one by one was called in, i was seriously nervous!!! hahaha...well, i tried to calm myself down... n later seniors cam eto support me n hong yih (yee yong, francesca n terri)...they r srsly good!!talking to them does help me to calm down a bit...lolz...in the beginnig, one by one was called very quickly to go in n come out....then abt after an hour, it became very slow...it takes like more than 15 minutes for a person to come out...so we started to get worried...is it ecoming harder?? or wad?? then later our frens tht came out said that its only prof nemcova examining, cz prof benes went to examine the other group... AND said that she is tough!!srsly, she's hard...she even askd my fren to dissect the hand!! come on, its dissection exam, dissection is over!!we're supposed to answer exam, not dissecting!!
well, she did askd me about suboccipital triangle, which of course is in the syllabus so luckily i read about it, but my friend who was a bit unlucky din read about it n was aksed the same thiing too.. my tutor told me after the exam that she was a bit pissed off alredi when she saw that we din dissect the suboccipital triangle, but my tutors kept persuading her n told her tht we din hv enuf time to, in fact we only hv 1 day for dorsal side... so i was feelng lucky that she askd me abt the triangle as i read abt it n DID NOT askd me to dissect tht!!! it is totally not easy to dissect the neck part!!! besides, i was one of the few laast ones, so i think she wanted to finish it fast as well... as she only askd me qstns on 3 parts...the neck, hand n lower limb...it was easy, just tht the last part was a bit unexpected, she askd about tarsal bones!! damn, cz most of us only studies muscles n joints but not bones! but well, it was just BY CHANCE that i know about the groove, 'sustentaculum tali', n i just said that, and she said 'PERFECT! AN A!' WOW!!!
i was like reli?? thnak you so much!!! n she smiled...kekke...that was about my first experience on dissection oral exam...*phew* n i was thinking, now i cn seriously enjoy my holidays=D

so well, the holiday started right after the exam! LOLz...although not officially as we still hv class the following day, but im just gonna put my books aside! hehe...
so as promised, my tutor is gonna buy those hu scored an A a shot, but i declined tht as i dun think i cn drink so much...bcoz i just started drinking, it needs to be done step by step... i know the limits... but well, since we went to a pub (a few of us left after the exam or in otehr words, the few last ones, went for a drink to celebrate, my tutor said its a tradition tht czech medical students go thr to drink after a major exam!! well, u know to relieve al the stress and just get drunk! so it was me, hong yih, faisal, marte, johanna n out tutors, kristyna n joseph! we had a great time seriously....just chatting about the experience n listen to advice from them! well, one thing they said, an A or a C has totally no difference at allas long as u pass! well, i guess its true cz it does depend on luck sometimes whether u r askd the questions tht u know or dunno...but another fren of mine put it in a much beta way, she said her mum told her that 'thr is no such thing as luck. it is either u know it or u dont know!' nice! ^^
so well, in the end, my tutor just buy me the beer that i drannk tht night...all of us ordered beer...n seriuosly they cn reli drink, i think most of them ordered 2/3 glasses!! n i htink tht one glass was 0.8L... n so 1 is enuf for me!! definitely!! so it was reli nice spending time with them...diffrent experience with international friends!! ^^
n when i get back home it was already ard 7.45pm n yu xin askd me to go for a movie 2012, but i told i needed some time to regain back my consciousness, i was still kinda blurr...since after exam! lolz
then off she went for the movie with adeline n xiang yan...
then left evon n me at home, n she keep asking me to follow her to watch Zombieland with other seniors n our frens.. i was liek im nt into horror movies n i needed some rest...but dep down inside me, i know that this is the last day of promotion for half price ticket, which means it is 50kc or rm10, n so well, i was like oh crap, ok fine i'l follow u after my dinner... n we went at ard 9pm n it started snowing....n it is just beautiful!! i wantd to take some pictures bt my hand was just freezing cold....haha....that experience was just....well, no words could ever describe it...^^
all i can say is amazing.......=DDDDD
so...lets continue, the show was kinda lame, a bit gross and totally funny, its a comedy instead of horror in fact, though i did shouted when it was scary...but well, just for the fun of shouting...LOLZ
so that was basically how the day ended after the show......i was seriously tired n just slept once i reachd home....

~next day~
class started at 8am n anat lecture ended at 1.30pm and we went to hange our transport pass...later me n hong yih went to museum area to shop as he wanted to buy some winter clothes, i wanted to just c...but well, i guess the temptation is just too much...i borrowed 300kc from him as i forgot to bring out my atm card n i had no cash anymore after buying the transport pass..n end up reli spending it all!!! damn!! luckily he left 300kc n nt 500kc, else i wud have finished all as well...hahathen after he finshed he went back home but i hung ard thr as thr is a PILLOW FIGHT in old town square at 7.55pm. it was for 5 minutes i thnk, till 8pm. it was reli an interesting experience!!! with a few of my classmates, we were beatng ard, n seriously some other ppl were reli very violent...best part is, just to stick with ur gang of frens...but it is not easy to stick with them as well,the crowd was just....crazy....haha
n after that, my 2 frens, moran n doron has a flight to catch in 2 hrs, so they just went bk!! well, happy holidays to them! the rest of us went for dinner later till ard 10pm, n we went to johnny's apartment! it was reli a very nice apartment!!! gosh!! n haha my frens were reli crazy, they messed doron's room(doron n johhny stayed together) cz he alredi wnet bk n he was seriously a very organized person...evrythng in his room was organized perfrectly well n even his clothes were folded with an angle!!! gosh!!! reli a very disciplined guy! n the rest just messed up his wardrobe just like tht n we wonder hw he will react when he comes bk...HAHA
n one amazing thing we know about johnny is tht he is a professional surfer!!! he showed us the video of him surfing i think at costa rica n it was RELI RELI AMAZING!!!!! he just surf thru the big waves just like that n doesnt fall!!!!!!!! u know, it was just like when u watch a hollywood movie with ppl surfing around! gosh!! he is reli great!!! n the best part is,he has surfboards named after him!! he is a celebrity!!! n we were like wad the hell r u doin here???!!!!!!hhaa...beach boy...he should belong to the beach...LOL

n well, we chatted n hung out in his apartment til like 12smtg n i gt home ard 1am...n it was another gr8 day with me out since 8am in the morning!!! well, sometimes, we just gotta enjoy the little things in life....n the most important is friends....

so....this is how my holiday started and there r gonna be more excitements this coming week with a tour to Venice,Rome n Vienna!!!!nice!!!! im so soooo excited...keke...

Did you know that Albert Einstein himself was in Prague? The famous German-born American theoretical physicist widely regarded as the most important scientist of the 20th century and one of the greatest physicists of all time was walking the streets of Prague some 95 years ago! He did not only visit Prague, he actually worked here!
Later Nobel Prize winner in Physics, Albert Einstein, came to Prague in 1911 when he was 31 with his family – his wife Mileva and two sons, Hans Albert (7 years) and Eduard (1 year). Einstein was appointed a full professor at the German University in Prague. He held lectures about mechanics and kinetic heat theory.
A new flat was built for Einstein and his family in the Prague district Smichov. They lived in Lesnicka 7 at the left bank of the Vltava River.
But Einstein spent most of his free time in the salon of Mrs. Bertha Fanta on the Old Town Square where a debating circle met regularly. Famous participants apart from Einstein here were writers Max Brod and Franz Kafka. Einstein liked coming here with his violin and between literary discussions he took part in musical events to entertain his friends.
Einstein’s years in Prague are an important milestone in the life of this important researcher and philosopher. In Prague Albert Einstein found – according to his own writings – the necessary composure to give the basic thought of the general theory of relativity (1908) a more definite shape. During his 17-month lasting stay in Prague, Einstein wrote 11 scientific works, 5 of them on radiation mathematics and on quantum theory of the solids.
You can visit the place where famous Albert Einstein played his violin. Look for a memorial plaque outside a house on the Old Town Square. It reads:
“Here in this salon of Mrs Berta Fanta, Albert Einstein, Professor at Prague University in 1911 to 1912, founder of the theory of relativity, Nobel Prize Winner, played the violin and met his friends, famous writers, Max Brod and Franz Kafka.”

Moved out!!

yesh!!! at last, have a home to myself...oh no, i mean a room to myself...LOL. anyways, it is really a nice house... but i cant upload any photos yet as our house is still very messy from the moving in and the leftover boxes of our furniture from ikea. my housemates are evon, ye ling and yu xin. the most special and uniques part of the house is the kitchen! so so nice!!!! will post pics when i can on9 in my room as we just applied internet line from O2 company and it is only 500kc per month, and best of all 8Mb!!!!!! compared to Malaysia in which the fastest offered by Streamyx is only 1mb....swt....
and my furniture altogether costs around 7000kc..gosh!! spent so much,,,,need to be more careful when spending already next time... but it is seriously nice as i got to choose my own furniture, and do the whole interior decor myself!!!! yoohoo!!! at least now i have a vision of how my house is going to be like when i get back to Malaysia!! hehe ;) nice ncie experience!!! but anyhow, thanks to the guys of my batch as well as they helped us girls to move the furniture into the trolley in ikea and send to the transport counter. it is seriously heavy man!!! and also helped us in fixing the furniture! well. yesterday was really a tiring day! expected to finish fiixing around evening so that we girls can belanja them dinner but in the end, the whole thing finished around 10pm. so it was really late and everyone is soo tired... well, will belanja the guys AND adeline mayb next time.... it is really very kind of them to come and help us out ^^

well, that is all from me as i am now on9 in adeline's apartment and i need to have my dinner fast!!! and also, i haven't finish unpacking my stuff as well as study for anatomy test this wednesday!!!!gosh!!! i dun wana screw up in this important test!!! limbs, joints and ligaments, here i come!!! =)))))

This sight is located between the towns of Malacca and Port Dickson. Tanjung Tuan, also called Cape Rachado, is the site of the oldest - and still functioning - lighthouse in Malaysia. Cape Rachado Lighthouse, also called Rumah Api Tanjung Tuan, was built somewhere between 1528 and 1529 by the Portuguese to help guide ships to the Malacca port. Possession of the lighthouse switched to the Dutch in 1641 and then to the British in 1824 following their respective takeovers. Today it houses a MEASAT Rader for broadcasts and communications. Tanjung Tuan is 16km south of Port Dickson. Although it is located within Negri Sembilan, it is actually part of Malacca. At this point, the Straits of Malacca is a mere 40km in width. Tanjung Tuan is where Battle of Cape Rachado was fought in 1606, between the Dutch East India Company (Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie) and the Portuguese. This is the initial foray mounted by the coalition of Dutch-Johor forces against Portuguese Malacca which ultimately led to the surrender of the Portuguese of Malacca to the Dutch in 1641. Tanjung Tuan has been a forest reserve as early as 1921, when 80.97 hectares were gazetted as the Hutan Simpanan Cape Rachado. However 16.19 hectares were degazetted in 1969 for public use. On 5 January 1971, the balance 60.70 hectares were gazetted as a wildlife sanctuary. Tanjung Tuan is noted as an important birdwatching area. Migratory birds can be spotted here between September and March when they overwinter.

PRAGUE

hi everyone!!!
i have safely reached prague!
in fact im having so much fun here! hehe^^

ok, so now, will update everything( well, mayb not everything as i have to go out in awhile and i cant rem everything also anyway ^^) and would like to apologise too as i cant upload pics yet as im using the comp lab in my hostel^^
1. prague is a fun place to xplore!
2. prague was not destroyed in WWII, so it has really old buildings, even older than my school ;p
3. the public transport here is super efficient! i can basically go anywhere^^
4. spaghetti costs like rm1 plus here. but rice is ard rm 10 per kg, after converting!
5. places i went to last few days-

-charles bridge
-old town sq
-astronomical clock
-some garden near Nadrazi Holesovice( a metro station near my hostel which i used to go uni), forget the name of the park, xiang yan! ( oh ya, xiang yan is the senior who brought us thr! reli kind senior! in fact all the seniors here are very very good ^^)

- shopping at tesco in Novy Smichov and another tesco at Letnany, all easily reachable by metro!!!
